USA Functional Fitness

About USAFF

USA Functional Fitness (USAFF) is the national governing body for competitive functional fitness in the United States of America. USAFF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and grow the functional fitness as a competitive sport in the U.S. We are an official member of the International Functional Fitness Federation. Our sport (Competitive Functional Fitness) aims to tests athletes’ proficiency across a variety of movement patterns, activities, and energy systems. Athletes must show their competency in various realms, including demonstrations of their aerobic capacity, strength, bodyweight endurance, bodyweight skill, mixed modal capacity, and power. Functional Fitness athletes showcase resiliency, in that they can perform to their max potential through the expression of strength, power and endurance.  The 2020 Season Kicks off Feb 10th, 2020 with the Online Qualifier (information to be released soon).

Fitness as a Sport

Competitive Functional Fitness is a sport which tests athletes’ proficiency across a variety of movement patterns, activities, and energy systems. Athletes must show their competency in various realms, including demonstrations of their strength, strength endurance, speed, bodyweight/gymnastics skill, and aerobic capacity.

About the Sport

Become a Member

In order to compete in the Online Qualifier, any USA Functional Fitness sanctioned event or earn a spot on the National Team you must first be a USAFF Member.

Membership is annual and is good for one year from the date of payment.

Only USAFF Members are eligible to serve on USAFF Committees.

Your USAFF Membership includes individual supplemental accident and injury insurance for all USAFF sanctioned events!
